THE FOSTER FARMS "BACK TO THE FUTURE" SWEEPSTAKES - OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

THE FOSTER FARMS "BACK TO THE FUTURE" SWEEPSTAKES ("Sweepstakes") starts at 12:01 am (Pacific Standard Time ["PST"]) on 11/1/02 and ends at 11:59 pm (Pacific Daylight Time ["PDT"]) on 6/1/03 for Internet entry and on 6/2/03 for the postmarking of mail-in entry . The sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Foster Poultry Farms, 1000 Davis Street, Livingston, CA 95334 (the "Sponsor"). The Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein.

ELIGIBILITY: SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES (EXCEPT RESIDENTS OF PUERTO RICO AND ALL U.S. TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS), 14 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF ENTRY DATE. Employees and their families of Sponsor, Universal Studios Home Video LLC, Universal City Studios LLC, Universal City Studios LLLP, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, agencies and WEST COAST MARKETING (collectively, the "Promotion Parties") and those living in the household of same are not eligible to enter or win. The Grand Prize winner's travel companions are required to be 18 years of age or older as of the date of issuance of Grand Prize winner notification or be the child or ward of the Grand Prize winner. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules.

HOW TO ENTER VIA THE INTERNET:

Beginning at 12:01 AM (PST) on 11/1/02 you may enter via the Internet by logging onto http://www.fosterfarmsandnewmansown.net (the "Entry Site") and following the Sweepstakes entry directions. You will be asked to provide your name, address, telephone number, date of birth and e-mail address. LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY VIA THE ENTRY SITE PER VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS/PERSON PER DAY. ALL ENTRIES ON THE ENTRY SITE MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59 PM (PDT) ON 6/1/03.

HOW TO ENTER BY MAIL: On an official entry form (available while supplies last on specially marked packages of Foster Farms Corn Dogs and Foster Farms Mini Corn Dogs at participating retail locations) or on a plain piece of 3" x 5" paper, handprint (no mechanical reproductions accepted) your name, address, telephone number, birth date and e-mail address (if applicable). Mail your completed entry to: THE FOSTER FARMS "BACK TO THE FUTURE" SWEEPSTAKES, PO BOX 6042, Sherman Oaks, CA 91413. Enter as often as you like, but each entry must be mailed separately. ALL MAIL-IN ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED BY 6/2/03 AND RECEIVED BY 6/10/03.

The Promotion Parties, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, and and any and all Internet server(s) and access provider(s) (collectively, "Promotion Entities"), and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations and advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents (collectively, "Releasees") are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human errors; technical malfunctions; failures, omissions, interruptions, deletions or defects of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, servers, providers, or software, including without limitation any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes; inability to access the Entry Site; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; data that is processed late or incorrectly or is incomplete or lost due to telephone, computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on telephone lines or the Internet or any web site (including the Entry Site) or for any other reason whatsoever; typographical, printing or other errors; any mailed entries which are late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible, or postage due, or any combination thereof. Proof of mailing entry or entering information at the Entry Site is not considered proof of delivery or receipt. Illegible, incomplete, and mechanically reproduced entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. False, fraudulent or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants affirm that they have read and accepted these Official Rules. The Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal and state courts of the United States and waive the right to have disputes arising out of the subject matter hereof adjudicated in any other forum. Any entry information collected from the Sweepstakes shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by entrants at the time of the entry, with these Official Rules and with the Foster Farms Online Privacy Policy, which can be found at /detail.asp?SID=m.

WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be selected in a random drawing on/about 6/11/03 by WEST COAST MARKETING, an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. All prizes are guaranteed to be awarded. Grand Prize winner will be notified by mail, telephone and/or e-mail, by 6/25/03 and will be required to execute and return an Eligibility Affidavit/ Release of Liability/Publicity Release and completed IRS W-9 form within 14 days of issuance of notification or an alternate may be selected in a subsequent random drawing. If a winner is a minor in the jurisdiction in which they reside, the prize will be awarded in the name of their parent or legal guardian. Grand Prize winner's travel companions are also required to execute and return a Liability Release within this same time deadline. Grand Prize winning-named parent or legal guardian will be required to execute required documents on behalf of a travel companion that is their minor child or ward. A minor will not be allowed to participate in any portion of the Grand Prize travel without being accompanied by their Grand Prize-winning parent or legal guardian. First and Second Prize winners will be notified by 8/25/03 with the delivery of their prize. Any prize notification or prize returned to the Sponsor or their fulfillment company as undeliverable for any reason will be awarded to an alternate. No substitution by a winner for their prize shall be allowed. If necessary due to unavailability, a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a cash alternative at its sole discretion. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. All Federal, state, local or other tax liabilities are the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use the winners' and Grand Prize winner's travel companions' name, likeness and statements for publicity purposes without additional compensation or limitation.

PRIZES: GRAND PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a 3 day/2-night weekend (Saturday night stay-over is required) trip for four people to Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City, California. Prize includes round-trip [r/t] coach airfare (via an airline carrier selected by Sponsor) between the major US gateway city airport closest to the winner's home and Los Angeles, CA, 2 consecutive nights accommodations (1 standard room, quadruple occupancy) at a hotel selected by Sponsor, r/t airport/hotel transfers in the Los Angeles area and four (4) VIP tour admission tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood (approximate total retail value [arv] of the prize is $3,600). NOTE: all meals, incidentals, gratuities, telephone calls, all personal expenses incurred by the winner and guests during their stay and any other expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner and his or her travel companions. Winner and their travel companions will be responsible for ground transportation to and from the airport at the point of origin and upon return thereto. Hotel accommodations consist of room and room tax charges only. All travel must be completed by 12/31/03. Winner must provide written notice of the desired travel date at a minimum of 45 days prior to such date or the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner will be selected. All travel is subject to airline and hotel blackout dates and availability. FIRST PRIZE: Ten (10) winners will each receive one BACK TO THE FUTURE TRILOGY on DVD (arv $40. each). SECOND PRIZE: twenty (20) winners will each receive one BACK TO THE FUTURE Gift Pack consisting of one each of the following BACK TO THE FUTURE items; T-shirt, hat and back-pack (arv $28. each). Total approximate retail value of all prizes to be awarded is approximately $4,560. Odds of winning a prize are determined by the total number of eligible entries received and are equal regardless of method of entry. Approximately 2,000,000 Official Entry forms will be distributed

GENERAL RELEASES:

1. Entrants release and waive any claim they may have against Releasees and their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, affiliates, subsidiaries, parent and related companies, distributors, dealers and agencies and their respective successors and assigns for injuries, claims, damages or losses, costs or expenses of any kind resulting from acceptance of or possession of or arising out of use or misuse of a Prize or parts thereof or from participation in this Sweepstakes.

2. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or if this Sweepstakes or any web site associated therewith (or any portion thereof), including but not limited to the Entry Site, becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of the Sweepstakes and processing of entries in accordance with these rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in the Sponsor's sole opinion, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes or any portion thereof. In the event this Sweepstakes is cancelled, the Sponsor will conduct a random drawing to award all prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect on-line and mail-in entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. If such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension occurs, notification will be posted at www.fosterfarmsandnewmansown.net. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and/or civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Where a dispute arises about who submitted an on-line entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account entered. The authorized account holder is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry and that all eligibility requirements are met.

3. Winner's name, voice and likeness may be used for publicity purposes without further compensation.

4. NOTE: Internet entry must be made by the entrant only at the Entry Site. Entries made by any other individual or entity and/or originating at any other Internet web site or e-mail address, including, but not limited to, commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering service sites, will be declared invalid and disqualified for this Sweepstakes. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited.
