Cheesy Stuffed Chicken
This delicious cheesy stuffed chicken, using fresh Foster Farms half breasts, is great served over warm pasta. A great way to incoporate spinach into your meal too! Prep Time: approx.
   15 Minutes. Cook Time: approx. 30 Minutes. Ready in: approx. 45 minutes .
   Makes servings.

Chicken:
1 package (about 1 1/2 lbs.) Foster Farms Chicken Half Breasts
  

Spinach Mixture:
1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
1/3 cup grated Mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1  egg
  

Top With:
1 cup marinara sauce


Directions
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a square baking dish, 8x8x2-inches, with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Rinse chicken and pat dry.

3. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except the chicken and marinara sauce. Using fingers, carefully stuff about 1/3 cup of spinach mixture under the skin of the chicken. Secure skin with toothpicks.

4. Place stuffed breasts, skin side up, in baking dish. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken is golden brown and no longer pink when cut into.

5. Heat marinara sauce and spoon over chicken.
