Directions
1. Place basil (damp from washing) into a small microwaveable dish; add garlic. Cover; cook in microwave until basil just wilts, about 20 to 40 seconds. Carefully remove cover; drain basil on paper towel.
2. Finely chop cooled basil and garlic; return to bowl. Stir in mayonnaise, lemon juice, a dash black pepper, and cayenne. Cover; refrigerate until needed.
3.Season turkey with salt and pepper, as desired.
3. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add turkey, cooking in batches if needed. Cook until browned and no longer pink in center, about 3 minutes per side. When turkey is almost done, top with cheese.
4. Spread about 1 tablespoon reserved basil aioli over the inside bottom of rolls. Top with turkey, bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomatoes; season with salt and pepper.
Tip: Arrange 3 layers paper towels in a microwaveable dish; top with a layer of bacon. Cover with 2 layers paper towels. Cook in microwave until crisp, about 1/2 to 1 minute per slice. Be very careful when removing hot dish from oven.
