Chris's Incredible Italian Turkey Meatloaf
A household favorite, I created this recipe after giving up flour, cheese and most sugar. It is a turkey meatloaf, Foster Farms ground tureky, with an Italian touch.. Prep Time: approx. 20 Minutes. Cook Time: approx. 50 Minutes. Ready in: approx. 70 minutes .
Makes 6 servings.
Turkey Meatloaf:

1 pound Foster Farms Turkey Mild Italian Sausage, casings removed
|
1 pound Foster Farms Fresh Ground Turkey 7% Fat
|
2 eggs, beaten
|
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
|
1/2 cup chopped onion
|
1/2 cup milk
|
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
|
1 teaspoon Italian-style seasoning
|
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
|
1/2 teaspoon salt
|
Sauce:
|
2 cups spaghetti sauce
|
5 dashes hot pepper sauce
|
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
|
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
|

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, sausage, eggs, oats, onion and milk. Season with 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and salt. Mix well and form into a loaf. Place into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
3. In a separate small bowl, mix together the spaghetti sauce, hot sauce, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke. Smooth over the entire meatloaf.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
