Essential Job Functions

  1. Establish direction and target for the Belgravia Plant by developing short-term and long-term goals for Production needs and monitor the results of cost and quality systems to insure profit margins.
  2. Apply leadership to develop personnel and systems that will keep the manufacturing operation an industry leader in terms of cost and quality.
  3. Provide direction to ensure comprehensive employee safety programs are aligned with Company’s goals and values Assure the support of the Technical Department and Engineering by assisting in product development, quality assurance, engineering systems and equipment to provide future profitability and growth as required by the Manufacturing Division.
  4. Develop new products and process in conjunction with Marketing and USDA compliance with SSOP and HACCP programs.
  5. Ensure quality programs and technical support to protect existing businesses and ensure engineering support for expansion and new methods.
  6. Maintain existing assets and personnel matters and maintain company assets.
  7. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.
  8. Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy to provide a harassment-free work environment
  9. Maintain reliable work force and positive union relations.
  10. Maintain management depth for existing business and growth.
  11. Participate with entire Operations Group in the total planning process, including capital requirements, budgeting and manpower development for future growth of our business.


Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Business Administration or related fields.
  2. Ten years progressively responsible management in the food processing industry, preferably in the poultry business.
  3. Demonstrated financial understanding to include budgeting, staffing, and cost analysis.
  4. Demonstrated leadership skills and drive.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to work in both individual and team work settings.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SAP and Cognos.
