Senior Credit Analyst

Essential Job Functions
1. Establish proper credit extension for each account reviewed and revise high dollar and/or marginal accounts on a regular basis, including review of other staffs’ accounts when needed.
2. Collection of past due accounts.
3. Primary analytical resource for projects that involve cross functional teams or within Finance functions.
4. Management reports, run daily SAP reports to check on marginal accounts and revise/communicate credit policy.
5. Attend Credit meetings and seminars to share customer information with Poultry, Foodservice and Commodity groups.
6. Establish and revise credit policy and procedures.
7. Assist manager with Credit opportunities and improved processes in department.
8. Backup functionality to the Credit Manager in a “lead” role.
9. Assist other credit and AR personnel with questions.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Admin or Accounting.
2. Five or more years experience in credit and collections field.
3. Knowledge of credit policies and procedures.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Computer literate in the windows environment (Excel and Word) and SAP experience is very helpful.
6. Self-starter, able to work without direct supervision.
7. Credit certification of CBA and CBF preferred.
