The birds require different types of feed as they grow so precision milling machines at Foster Farms' own feedmills produce specialty blends. An average of 90 train cars arrive from the grain-growing states each week, carrying corn, soy and other natural ingredients which are blended to provide the highest protein food source. Our feedmills produce more than 4,000+ tons per day of this high-quality feed, which is then transported to our ranches via our fleet of bulk feed trucks. This ensures that the birds enjoy a perfectly balanced diet.
