Foster Farms maintains some of the most modern, technologically-advanced processing operations in the nation. Chickens and turkeys are transferred from our grow-out ranches to one of our state-of-the-art processing plants. The processing plants are located in close proximity to the grow-out ranches in California, Oregon and Washington. Foster Farms highly efficient and sanitary plants employ a comprehensive food quality control and safety management system. Each bird is individually hand inspected and certified wholesome by US Government inspectors on site at our plants. An additional inspection by the USDA grading service earns individual Foster Farms products a grade "A" certification. Foster Farms strictly adheres to all USDA regulations. In fact, we exceed them in every facet of production and product specification. By the time poultry leaves the plant, it has received more than ten times the required number of government inspections.
