THIS IS MY FAVORITE CHICKEN RECIPE NOW. I FOUND THIS RECIPE YEARS AGO ON YOUR WHOLE CHICKEN WRAPPER. THEN I LOST IT.I NOW HAVE MANY COPIES OF IT IN VARIOUS PLACES ALSO SAVED IN YOUR "RECIPE BOX".IT'S GREAT.I MOSTLY USE CHICKEN THIGHS OR PIECES.

I've been making this recipe, with changes, for years. I triple the spices and flour, double the broth and peppers, use a whole onion and a whole bulb of garlic. I remove the skin after cutting into pieces.

I use the whole chicken and brown carefully all sides. My husband who is not a fan of chicken just loves it. I've been making it for years. Lost the recipe and the FF website staff found it for me! Thanks a lot Vickie M. Barb

Absolutely delicious. Easy to fix, maybe a little time consuming, but well worth it. A great recipe for chicken. The first time I made this I used a whole chicken. Since then, I use chicken parts which seems easier to handle for me.

I too use chicken pieces instead of the whole chicken. It's also great with pork, either roast or pork chops

Love this tasty chicken recipe! Can easily be done with chicken pieces rather than whole bird...and I use a shortcut: rub with cajun seasoning blend (instead of separate seasonings). I serve with rice...and find carrots a nice accompaniment.
