Essential Job Functions

1. Communicate with customers/buyers and company personnel to resolve issues, increase sales to targeted volume and placement levels, develop customer relationships and assure customer satisfaction.
2. Make sales presentations and business reviews to the buyer and communicate with team leader.
3. Prepare sales presentations, understand volume positions on all items and develop proactive plans to grow the business.
4. Conduct quarterly presentations and reviews to all buyers and annually to the regional GMM/AGMM.
5. Work with all internal marketing personnel to identify new product opportunities, product improvements and understand all competitive products.
6. Manage/minimize unauthorized deductions, accurately submit all TPM Deals and recap all spending programs with manager.
7. Understand all product specifications sold to the customer, be able to discuss the specifications internally and externally and be able to perform a product evaluation to the product specifications.
8. Understand the customer pallet/box specifications and assure that Foster Farms conforms and while assuring that Foster Farms meets customer EDI and UCC expectations.
9. Secure product demos on each item, in each region, to assure all demo commitment is performed and dollars are spent to maximize sales.
10. Travel to regional buying offices and Costco grand openings perform location checks and quarterly audits.
11. Must be available to the customer 24 hours per day – 6 days per week.


Requirements

1. Bachelors Degree required.
2. Three-five years club store experience preferred and five plus years of Key Account Sales experience at a high level with consumer products.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Must possess exceptional follow up skills both internally and externally.
5. Have the ability to problem solve and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
6. Organization, planning and persistence are essential and must be able to handle many difficult issues simultaneously.
7. Must have strong computer skills and have a clean DMV.
8. Exhibit ability to work independently and have persistent attitude, flexibility and ability to handle demanding situations.
