Sanitation Supervisor

Essential Job Functions
1. Direct the activities of employees to maintain equipment in an acceptable sanitary condition for daily production requirements, in compliance with all USDA and company sanitation standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
2. Develop, train and monitor performance of all hourly employees and take action as needed.
3. Maintain chemical, equipment and personnel supply usage to meet department budget goals. Initiate special project requests.
4. Don proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
5. Attend training as required, including Quality Control, Human Resources, etc.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
1. College degree preferred.
2. Must be able to demonstrate ability to supervise employees effectively.
3. Must be able to evaluate employees fairly and objectively to meet Safety and Quality goals and standards.
4. Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
5. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines needed.
6. Must be flexible and work well in a fast paced environment.
7. Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).
8. Must be able to submit and pass criminal background check
