National Accounts Business Manager

Essential Job Functions
1. Manage the sales effort focused on national and regional restaurant chain customers resulting in the achievement of annual sales lbs and net sales dollar goals and objectives, will achieve this by conducting sales presentations and building rapport with new and existing customers.
2. Direct sales effort of the national account team.
3. Will be responsible for all business development efforts as the project manager of each new business opportunity with the marketing, finance and R&D team.
4. Maintain positive and professional relationships with all national account customers
5. Assist customer service, product management, pricing and accounts receivable in the planning and servicing of all national account customers.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. BS/BA in Business or Marketing and 15 plus years of experience in Foodservice National Account sales.
2. Willingness to travel/work outside of the office, in the trade, 50+%
3. Aggressive selling skills with the ability to target national and chain accounts, create strategies and close the sale
4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to independently develop strategic sales plans, proposals, present ideas and execute action plans
5. Highly motivated self-starter with strong administrative and excellent communication and organization skills
6. Intermediate or higher level of computer skills with ability to create effective presentations
7. Demonstrate problem-solving skills and sound judgment
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
1. MBA
2. Proficient in the use of CRM, TPM and sales reporting/analytics software
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to travel
2. Ability to obtain valid CA Drivers License & obtain reliable transportation for business travel
3. Consistent and reliable attendance
4. Ability to work in fast paced, high pressure situations
