Essential Job Functions
1. Lead sales team members to achieve organizational revenue, market share and profit goals.
2. Strategic account planning to optimize trade promotional spending
3. Category review analysis and close distribution gaps
4. Develop sales processes to secure new item distribution and improved schematics. Improve internal TPM accuracy.
5. Manage random weight fresh pre-price field & DSD bracket pricing. Provide Marketing with competitive activity. Utilize SAAG, SAP, Discovery, Data Alchemy, IRI, PG & specific customer data systems (optura) to review and identify gap opportunities.
6. Customer relationships, quarterly category reviews by account and presentations
Requirements
1. Bachelors degree in business
2. Ten-fifteen years retail sales management experience with food/CPG organization
3. Customer go to market promotional activity planning
4. New item introduction including national launch experience
5. Trade promotional planning with P & L responsibilities
6. Direct headquarter sales responsibility at retail national accounts
7. Strong analytical skills including category management and trade promotional efficiency experience
8. Proficient with Microsoft office, TPM/SAP, Syndicated and Account specific data (Demand Tec, Optura)
9. Strong organization, interpersonal and communications skills
10. Customer Shopper Marketing experience at Kroger, Safeway
11. Previous sales management leadership experience in multiple sales level organization
12. Valid Driver’s License, ability to regularly travel for multiple days
