Foster Farms Recipe by Chef Mark Tadros

INGREDIENTS

  

Chicken:

1 package (about 1 lb.) Foster Farms Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  salt and pepper to taste

1 package wonton wrappers (generally sold in the refrigerated produce section)

6 cups vegetable oil

  

Asian Style Slaw:

1 cup shredded Napa cabbage

1/2 cup shredded carrots

1/3 cup chopped green onions

1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro

2 tablespoons favorite Asian dressing

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat broiler to high heat.

2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine all of the Asian Style Slaw ingredients.

3. Place 6 cups oil in a large pot and heat to 350 degrees.

4. Cut wonton wrappers diagonally in half and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown (about 1 minute per wrapper).

5. Place chicken, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, and salt and pepper into a resealable bag. Shake bag so that chicken is well coated.

6. Broil chicken thighs on high until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, approximately 15 minutes.

7. Finely chop chicken and spread one tablespoon on top of each fried wonton wrapper. Place a tablespoon of the Asian Slaw on top of the chicken and serve on a large platter.
