Located in Hempstead County in Southwest Arkansas, Hope is near a host of interesting towns and communities and a wide range of recreational experiences. Little Rock and Shreveport are about two hours away and Dallas and Memphis make for good weekend getaways.

Hope is famous for being the birthplace of 42nd President, Bill Clinton, and visitors will find many points of interest from the president's early life.

For a taste of the arts, residents can take a short thirty-minute drive to Texarkana where the historic Perot Theatre brings acclaimed national and international music and dance productions to its stage.

Campers and hikers love the shorelines and forests, and the crystal clear waters are inviting for fishing, boating, skiing and scuba diving. Hope is located near five state parks, including the Crater of Diamonds State Park where visitors prospect for real diamonds or Old Washington State Historic Park which recreates a 19th century southwest village.
