We're seeking professionals with an unmatched passion and expertise in compliance as it relates to planning and auditing income tax as well as sales in use and property taxes.
Income taxation-If you have prior experience in a Big 4 or corporate tax department (a Masters in Taxation degree is desirable), we'd like to hear from you. You will be responsible for federal and state income taxation issues, including compliance, tax planning, audits, and financial reporting of income taxes.
Sale and use taxation- In this function, you will be responsible for filing returns in numerous states and other jurisdictions, managing audits of these filings, and responding to vendor inquiries regarding exemptions and related matters. Attention to detail and prior experience in sales and use compliance and/or auditing (i.e., experience as a state sales and use tax auditor) is necessary.
Property taxation-Here you'll be responsible for personal property tax renditions in numerous counties, parishes, or other jurisdictions, managing audits of the renditions, and working with outside property tax representatives on appeals. Prior experience in a County Assessors' office and/or managing the property tax function of a corporate tax department is highly desirable.
