Retail Sales

  • Independent Account Representative – Join us as account representative for our small to medium retail accounts. You will work within an assigned geographical territory that will include DSD and distributive accounts. You will have the opportunity to directly interface with owners of these markets. Working together with our internal Customer Service team is a key component to success in this position.
  • Key Accounts Managers – Represent Foster Farms for a division of a major retailer or large sized regional account. In this position, promotional development, use of syndicated data, schematic planning, forecasting and market analysis for sales opportunities are keys to success.
  • Club and Mass Merchandiser representation – You will represent Foster Farms products in the area of warehouse club and mass special markets.
  • Business Managers – Lead a team within the Independent, Key Account or Club/Mass areas with responsibility including P& L, volume and market share targets. This involves direct contact with retailer VP level personnel on a regular basis.

Foodservice Sales

  • The Foodservice Sales Team is responsible for "Away from Home Food Consumption". This includes calling on the following Segments such as Key Restaurants, K-12 Schools, College & Universities, C-Stores, Healthcare, etc.
  • Foodservice Region Sales Managers call on Foodservice Distributors, Key Operators at K-12 Schools, C-Stores and restaurants in North America. These positions manage the Broker Networks to call on all of the key operators. The Brokers help us reach key customers and sell our products. The Distributors are (Push Selling) and the Key Operators are (Pull Selling). The Region Sales Managers are responsible for all Trade Spending as defined by Sales Management & Marketing, developing Successful Sales Plans, accurate forecasting, achieving annual sales targets, etc.
  • Foodservice National Account Sales Team does the same as the Foodservice Region Managers, however, the Size of the accounts are much larger. This team calls on the Top 200 National Chain accounts as defined by "Technomics". The National Accounts team also calls on and develops business with the "Industrial Accounts" that use our quality products as a component of a meal, or another product. The Foodservice National Accounts team works very closely with R&D and Marketing with product development. Trade Spending, development of financial programs, etc. are very important in this position.

Commodity Sales

  • Can you develop a repeat customer base to sell our full line of commodity products? We’d like to hear from you. Our commodity products are defined as freezebacks, distressed product and excess fresh product. To help you out, weekly availability and price lists are published by way of e-mail to over 300 customers. Sales are handled either by phone or through e-mail.
